Shipping policy
We are a tiny team (tiny, like 1 person), so I try my best to get orders out within 3 to 6 days. If there is to be a delay I will let you know via email.
Duties & Taxes — International Orders (see below for US specific)
When ordering from Vernor Pots, please be aware that your order may be subject to import duties, taxes, and customs fees levied by your country's customs authority. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in our product prices or shipping costs.
What this means for you:
- Duties and taxes are determined by your local customs authority based on the declared value and product type of your order.
- Vernor Pots is not able to predict or control these charges, and we are unable to reimburse them.
- Customs processing may add to your delivery time.
Refused or unclaimed shipments: If a shipment is refused or unclaimed due to unpaid duties or taxes, the order will be returned to us. In this case, a refund will be issued for the product cost only — original shipping charges are non-refundable, and any return shipping costs incurred will be deducted from your refund.
Recommendations:
- Check with your local customs office before ordering if you are unsure of applicable charges.
- Ensure your delivery address is accurate to avoid delays or additional fees.
Duties & Import Taxes — United States
All orders shipped to the United States may be subject to import duties, taxes, and customs fees upon delivery. These charges are levied by US Customs and Border Protection and are the responsibility of the recipient.
Please note:
- Duties and import taxes are not included in the product price or shipping cost at checkout.
- Charges are assessed when your parcel arrives in the United States and must be paid by the recipient before delivery.
- We are unable to predict the exact amount of duties or taxes you may be charged, as these vary based on the declared value, product type, and current US tariff rates.
- Vernor Pots is not responsible for any delays caused by customs processing.
If you refuse delivery due to unexpected duties or taxes, please be aware that return shipping costs and any applicable fees will be deducted from your refund.
