Last year, we moved our family from Detroit to Byron Bay, relatively near to where I grew up. It’s been a massive year of change and readjusting. Oh yeah, we also had another baby! I have a new (temporary) studio, new kiln and wheel and dream work table. It’s taken some time to get set up, but I’m finally producing work again.
It’s slow going with a baby and two other kids, but I make time whenever I can, 15 minutes here, an hour there. It’s amazing how my relationship to time has changed!
New work is on the way, and a new relationship to the process is evolving. I’m excited to share what’s coming up soon. In the meantime, here is a photo of the ocean, the main reason for our move across the world.
